Veyrune · The Awakening — browser RPG is a free development playtest made with heavy AI assistance. Desktop recommended.
Choose your next adventure
A new adventure board connects exploration, regional beacon fights and crafting. Start with a shrine and one local fight, or reclaim one of nine beacons through three acts.
Break ordered wards, read the warden’s rift attacks, and choose one saved bonus cache per beacon. Optional Overcharge adds stronger guards and a shorter deadline. Existing classes, campaigns and online arenas remain available; the solo and portal editions keep their separate saves.
Small floor cues point toward incoming attacks. The combat panel separates parryable attacks from dodge-or-move warnings, and its cast bar follows the real attack clock.
Hit messages distinguish guard breaks, guarded damage, counters, misses and opponent defenses. Weapon families have distinct short sound cues. Defense readiness and facing still matter; the new display does not change combat timing or rewards.
Catch five sparks, dodge harmless blue pulses and bring the light home. The optional opening adventure has no timer or class requirement, and your first clear offers one useful reward kit.
Lighting the lantern unlocks a three-lap Time Trial with personal medals and a saved best time. Replays grant no repeat currency. Veyrune remains an in-development, heavily AI-assisted browser RPG; actual device and portal playback still need testing.
Try a short question based on a real Veyrune combat warning, then watch the unchanged recorded outcome and decide whether to try the current playtest.
The recording is from October 15, 2026: AI enemies, autoplay paused, and an older development build. It is not new footage or human PvP. The current game remains in development with heavy AI assistance.
